7 Quick takes Friday
Well following some friends bloggers examples, I’m starting this as well!
1. This week I’ve gotten a new task at work. Make a website for school and be the webmaster of it.
2. Mark and I are organizing a retreat for friends on Cmus. Things are going well and it seems it’s going to be a awesome retreat, really for young people who are a bit further in their faith. Really looking forward to it!
3. I’m feeling so restless every since my grandmother became sick and passed away. I can’t stay at home and have fun anymore, I have to go out every single friday and saturday. I am really back into football again. I kinda lost it when the preparations for World Youth Day were heating up last year, but now I’m back on the field again at least one time a week. And I missed it.
But even my friends are starting to wonder if there isn’t a church thing I need to go to or prepare for, because I’m in Franeker every weekend and they are not used to that. I don’t know really if I have to get worried about this. Last year I would rather go to a churchthingy than going out with friends here. To be honest, at the moment it is the other way around. I still go to church though, but I don’t have a steady parish because father and I don’t get along. So it’s not like my churchthings are slowing down, but partying is getting worse. Don’t know if it has something to do with grandmother passing away and if I need to get worried about it, because I do have a whole lotta fun at the moment. Well guess Lent will be a good time to reflect on it I quess.
4. Here at home there is a Mahjongg war going on at hyves. You can put a Mahjongg player on your hyves and friends can compete with you for the top ten. So friends and I are screwing each others top ten and competing for the number 1 spot.
5. Sunday I will go to mass at the cathedral. At the moment the cathedral is the only place I feel at home, with people I know and seem to be honestly glad to see me. I can look forward to mass at Groningen for an entire week. Some youthplatformpeeps are coming as well and then to the bisshop’s place for an entire afternoon full of meetings about the Youthplatform, Lourdes and weekends for teenagers.
6. One more week of work and then I will have an entire week of. Hooray. Need that!
7. I <3 St.Paul and will play some Mahjongg now.
